Our Story
Our story began in 2010 at the base of the majestic Iao Valley on Maui. We shared a mission of bringing our dynamic community together over fresh local coffee and delicious made-to-order food. Our goal was simple: to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. A place where people meet, socialize, and build relationships. We wanted to create something special.
Our first café opened in the heart of historic Wailuku Town, in a former gas station. As our community grew, we opened our second café in Haʻikū on the North Shore. We have since nurtured our cafés to be safe spaces for artists, musicians, and the Maui community to gather and connect.
We are grassroots, community-conscious, and family-owned. We are committed to bringing you the highest quality, most flavorful coffees in the world. Our commitment to giving back to our local community is crucial and keeps us engaged with our Maui Ohana.
Megan + Jackie
These two were baristas (of course!) when they first dreamed up the idea to partner up and create a vibrant new space in Maui. A gathering place that serves nourishing food and delicious coffee, covered in art by local artists, and open specifically to be a home for all the unique Maui people.
Come in for a coffee, and you’re likely to find one - or both - of them behind the espresso machine, doing what they love.
Community Service
We believe more is more, and we truly endeavor to make meaningful, constant contributions to our island community through service, donation, and by providing safe spaces for ALL to gather. We love to showcase art and music, and support our local families and the organizations that serve us all, as much as possible. We donate to Maui Onstage, Maui Food Bank, Women Helping Women, and Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui.
